Actor update from David Phillips

Heya there loyal fanbase!

I apologize for the post-mortem notification, but I wanted everyone to know that I was on television 4 times this week!

Scenes from Barackula were on Inside Edition, MSNBC and Fox News. I played a Harvard Vampire student named Julien. Fox News labeled my friends and I as Harvard students, but as reality would have it, that is not the case. In fact, I don't believe anyone involved in cast or crew went to Harvard, but I haven't done any fact checking on that moment...cuz I watch Fox News.

I was also in Check me out on "I Know My Kid's A Star" hosted by Danny Bonaduce where I was brought in to be the Acting Coach. In a scene about halfway through the final episode, I am working with Mckenzie, who may or may not have won the competition, you'll just have to watch the show to find out. Check VH1 for their barrage of repeats.

All that in one week! As the ancestors before us said, "When it rains, you're on television a motherload!!"

David's on the Small Silver Screen

What has David been up to lately, you ponder as you eat that Asian Chicken salad. Well, remember to chew, then swallow cuz I'm about to tell you!

Well, show you.

With McD's running (thank you to EVERYONE who has mentioned when and where they saw that sucker running) all the time (I haven't seen it myself however...) it's harder to get out and do commercial auditions. So, I have been rolling in a couple of small shorty short films type things.

1. Metra Entertainment's official entry into the Sundance Channel's Go Green commercial type of deal. This shoot was fun, but I'll let the short speak for itself.

2. My friend Brendon is gettin' rebellious against Steven Spielberg and Mark Burnett, specifically their show "On The Lot". He didn't get chosen so he and, I think, a few of his buddies created a site called "Trespassing On The Lot". They've got a couple of films up, but mine is the third one, ...see below.

Other than that, I'm great, got a new web design job, learning the foxtrot, writing, and wookin' po nub in all dah wong paces.

UPDATE!!

Who's bigger than a Big Mac??

My FACE is bigger than the Big Mac.
Well, I mean, kind of. At least, my face is bigger in regards to the physical size of one item, not in the Billions Served category. Not so much.

Hello Everybody!

Two very big moments in the life and times of David Phillips!

Item #1
According to The Tyra Banks Show website, I will be on OCTOBER 3RD and OCTOBER 17(the show repeats 2 weeks later at a later time in some cities). I will be Goth Boy #3! Specifically it says,
"Tyra also speaks with other guests who feel they are “romantically challenged,” including a chronic first dater whose dating skills are critiqued by a panel of guys, and a goth girl looking for her prince of darkness.
The prince of darkenss? Yea, that's me. I'd love it if you watch the show, it's gonna be GOTHTASTIC(after the piece about the transsexual relationship)!!

!!!(Disclaimer: According to my handy dandy Time Warner Cable menu guide, it's a repeat of Shannon Doherty, so if you see Shannon, you will not see me. Unless you think I look like Shannon Doherty. Please don't.)!!!

For you LA folks, the website says the show's on station KTTV/FOX11 at 10:00 AM. You must watch Tyra commands it.

Item #2
The Pumpkin Karver, a horror film of unsurpassed brilliance arrives in your local Blockbuster Video Rental Store TODAY, TUESDAY, OCTOBER 3RD! I would love it if you all went out and rented it so they make a sequel where I....well, I wouldn't want to give away what happens...but rent it. It's one of the best drinking games my roommates and I ever played(I drank turkey flavored soda, but I digress...), so keep that in mind!

Thank you all so much for your support over the past few years. Watch Tyra and Pumpkin Karver and figure out what went right and what went wrong!

Sincerely,

David
